Overview:

   • Gravity roller conveyor is also known as free roller conveyor.

   • Gravity-roller conveyors consist of a series of parallel rollers fastened to a metal frame supported at intervals. The frame can be inclined slightly for gravity flow, but components may also be rolled along manually.

   • Component is pulled /dragged completely on gravity roller conveyor & pushed forward manually.

• Nylon guides are provided to maintain the inside width of conveyor & to move the components without any interruption to the end of conveyor.

• Conveyor is having drive roller with shaft & non drive roller with shaft. All Shafts are supported by pillow block bearing at the end. At the end of drive roller geared motor is coupled directly.

• Duplex sprockets are mounted on the one end of shaft. Rotational motion of drive roller is transferred by chain from one sprocket to next.

• Powered roller conveyor consists of fabrication made in Rectangular & square tubular structure.

• Speed of powered roller conveyor can be varied by using variable frequency drive.

Overview:

• A free flow chain conveyor system allows to stop conveyed material (with a stopper), while the chain runs continuously underneath. After the stopper is released, conveying resumes.

Features:

• In this system free flow chain is used. Free flow chains are equipped with rollers that support conveyed objects. When accumulating, freely rotating rollers are in contact with the bottom side of goods conveyed, which ensures smooth and damage-free operation.

Overview:

In case of heavy & red hot components instead of the belts, there are conveyor chains that are used to move the components. Like the conveyor rollers, the chain plays a major role in the mechanical functioning of the conveyor. The conveyor chain is generally fabricated from metal. It is available in various qualities, shapes and sizes to suit various needs and requirements. This conveyor structure is fabricated in M.S.

Overview:

• An overhead conveyor is a type of material handling equipment used to transport products from one location to another location. The transportation path of this conveyor is above the floor.

• Overhead conveyors can be non- powered or powered. Non-powered overhead conveyors are manual or gravity force to move products from one location to the next. Powered overhead conveyors transport products utilizing a load-carrying mechanism such as a chain that is propelled by an electric motor.

• Belt conveyors of fabric, rubber, are driven by a power-operated roll mounted underneath or at one end of the conveyor.

Overview:

 

• A walking beam conveyor of the kind which comprises a series of stationary beams and a series of walking beams which have a driving mechanism by which they are moved upwards relative to the stationary beams to lift work pieces there from, then longitudinally to convey the work pieces along the stationary beams and subsequently downwards again to replace the work pieces on the stationary beams is provided with a mechanism for raising and lowering the walking beams in such a way as to minimize the impact of the working beams on the work pieces as they raise the work pieces from the stationary beams.

• This mechanism includes a number of hydraulic fluid pressure operated cylinders which are connected to the walking beams and operate successively.
